DRAMA, DRAMA, DRAMA

Ok so it is 2:48pm and my whole body is itching like mad and NO I don't have jolly scratch... I think it is nerves. My cousin Paula's window got smashed last night and they stole a litlle fountain she bought for her pet bird called "Patroon". Thank God she is all right, but we are still in shock! I'm drinking Rooibos Tea with honey, and I must say the itching has stopped a little.

You see I am a Speech and Drama teacher at a high school, and I get a bit stressed-up sometimes. Don't get me wrong I LOVE teaching and Drama is my all time passion, but I think if you don't set boundaries, you can get caught up in JUST acting and directing work, which is sometimes extremely draining.
I'm directing the high school play, and I love doing it. It is the cutest play and the kidzzz are so talented we are having so much fun. I am having so much fun. Acting or directing is a form of therapy. I forget about everything that seems to remotely bother me. I create my own little Utopia, and just go mad with the kidzzz. Sometimes I wonder if they think "this girl is stark raving mad..." MMM, I'd rather not ask their opinion on that one...
The "acting bit" of the play is covered and now I must look for decor and costumes etc. And I think that is why I'm itching so much, I don't know where to begin. You know I dream about my play at least 3 times a week! Hectic!!!!! My poor husband Henry can't keep house with me!

But if everything feels as if it is going to explode I turn to my faithful God. He is so amazing! When I talk to Him about all my ideas and dreams He answers them in miraculous ways. In His time...He makes all thing beautiful in His time...
To conclude I want to thank God for being my muse in times of total creative dryness. Oh gosh, and does He give the greatest ideas...
Till next time
Alecia
